Job Title: Key Accounts Manager
Location: Greater Manchester, Yorkshire
Reports to: Managing Director
To increase revenue through the development of corporate and other new
areas of business, selling and planning Easyway programmes to these newly
developed Key Accounts.
Specific Tasks
To establish the priorities in developing new business:
- Identify the largest potential clients in the Manchester and Yorkshire
regions by reference to numbers employed and the likely incidence of
smoking
- Make contact with the key individual in each organisation who can
provide more detailed information regarding the potential demand for
Easyway services
- Use information provided by the MD as a start point on identifying
best potential sources of new business
To develop the demand for Easyway services:
- To draft a quarterly sales plan, setting and agreeing targets for
telephone calls, client visits and written communication with the MD.
- To make an agreed number of “cold” telephone calls to
companies each week.
- To write and despatch an agreed number of information letters to companies
each week.
- To arrange an agreed number of new appointments with potential clients
each week.
To plan Easyway programmes:
- To provide all information on the Easyway programme, prices and services
to all Key Accounts developed.
- To agree dates and venues for programmes with both the MD and the
client.
- Obtain a purchase order from the client, and forward this to the MD.
Payment is by commission only, though advances can be given in the initial
period to help initialise the Key Accounts Programme.
